Vibroplant PLC (the 'Company')

Vibroplant PLC received notification on 9 March 2000 that on that day the
Vibroplant Employee Trust ('the Trust') purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares at
62p per share.  As a result of this purchase the Trust is now interested in
1,289,154 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 2.79 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.

Two non-executive Directors of the Company, Mr B Cottingham and Mr P Parkin
are trustees of the Trust and are therefore deemed to be non-beneficially
interested in these shares.
