Vibroplant PLC (the 'Company')

On 29 September 2000, Peter Parkin, a director of the Company, purchased
12,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 55p per share.  Pursuant
to this transaction, Mr Parkin is beneficially interested in 37,500 ordinary
shares, representing 0.08 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital.

Mr Parkin is a trustee of the Vibroplant Employee Trust (the 'Trust').  In
this capacity, he also has a non-beneficial interest in the 2,039,154 ordinary
shares held by the Trust.
