Vodafone Group PLC 11 April 2001 11 April 2001 VODAFONE CONFIRMS PARTNERS FOR ITS GLOBAL PLATFORM AND INTERNET GROUP Vodafone Group Plc ('Vodafone') today confirms the content and technology partners chosen for its Global Platform and Internet Services Group ('VGP'). The partnerships include: - New York Times Digital; - MedicinePlanet, Inc.; - ScreamingMedia, Inc.; - Cambridge Technology Partners; - AirFlash, Inc.; and - Google Inc. The partnerships will add design, customized content, advanced search technology, content integration and location-based services to the Vodafone Global Platform. The VGP designs, builds and maintains Vodafone's global portal outside of Europe. Vodafone customers - wherever they travel - can log onto the Vizzavi site and easily select the exact information they want to receive via their wireless device, including stock quotes, weather reports, travel information, sports updates and other lifestyle information - all designed to make managing their life more simple.
