Vodafone AirTouch Plc ('the Company')

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that on 11 February 2000, Mr C C Gent, a director of the Company, acquired 871
ordinary shares of US$0.10 each, Mr J M Horn-Smith, a director of the Company,
and those connected with him acquired 1,868 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each,
Mr K J Hydon, a director of the Company, acquired 2,780 ordinary shares of
US$0.10 each and Mr P R Bamford, also a director of the Company, acquired 355
ordinary shares of US$0.10 each through their participation in the Company's
Scrip Dividend Scheme, for which each share was valued at 285.25p.
