Vodafone AirTouch Plc ('the Company')

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that the Company has been notified today of part exercises of a share option
and subsequent share sales between 15 February 2000 and 17 February 2000 by
Sam Ginn, the non-executive chairman of the Company.

The option was granted at the price of US$6.05 and the share sales (in the
form of American Depositary Receipts) were as follows:
