In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that the Company was advised today by The Share Centre, administrators of
Personal Equity Plans and Individual Savings Accounts for the Company, that on
29 March 2004, through reinvestment of tax reclaims, Mr K J Hydon, director of
the Company, acquired 391 ordinary shares and Mr J M Horn-Smith, director of the
Company, acquired 31 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the capital of the
Company at 130.75p per share.
