In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that the Company has today been advised that on 17 September 2003 Mr Luc
Vandevelde, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 20,000 ordinary
shares of US$0.10 each in the capital of the Company at a price of 124.4p per
share.


Following this transaction, Mr Vandevelde's interest in shares in the Company is
20,000.
