In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that on 24 April 2001 the Company has been advised by NatWest, administrators
of Personal Equity Plans and Individual Savings Accounts for the Company, that
on 23 April 2001, through reinvestment of tax reclaims, Mr K J Hydon and Mr J
M Horn-Smith, directors of the Company, each acquired 1 ordinary share of
US$0.10 each in the capital of the Company at 219.5p per share.
