Vodafone Group Plc - Company Name Change

In accordance with resolution 22 passed at the Annual General Meeting of
Vodafone AirTouch Plc held on 27 July 2000, I have to inform you that the
Company has today changed its name to Vodafone Group Public Limited Company.
The Registrar of Companies has today issued a Certificate of Incorporation on
Change of Name giving effect to the name change.
