Bovis Homes Group PLC ('the Company')

DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST IN SHARES

The Company received notification today that, following a transaction on 17
May 2001, Jupiter Asset Management Limited now has an aggregate interest in
11,487,060 Ordinary shares of 50p each of the Company, representing 10.06% of
the total shares in issue.

Jupiter Asset Management Limited does not hold any shares beneficially, but
holds them as an investment manager acting on behalf of discretionary clients.
