The Company was today notified that D J Ritchie, an Executive Director,
exercised an award over 7,150 Ordinary Shares in the Company under the terms of
the Bovis Homes Group PLC Save As You Earn Share Option Scheme today, 1 June
2005. D J Ritchie has retained all the shares and his resultant holding has
increased to 28,062 shares.
