Bovis Homes Group PLC ('the Company')


The Company was yesterday notified that M R Harris, an Executive Director,
exercised an award over 21,888 Ordinary Shares in the Company under the terms of
the Bovis Homes Group Long Term Incentive Plan yesterday, 6 April 2004.  The
total consideration for these shares was £1.  Having sold 9,019 shares at 586p
per share on 6 April 2004 to meet the PAYE liability only, M R Harris retained
the maximum number of shares and his resultant holding has increased by 12,869
shares to 267,966 shares.
