The Company was notified on 19 March 2004 that D J Ritchie, an Executive
Director, exercised options over ordinary shares in the Company under the terms 
of the Bovis Homes Group PLC Executive Share Option Scheme on 19 March 2004 as 
follows:

Having sold 9,157 shares at a price of £5.86 per share on 19 March 2004 to meet
the option cost and PAYE liability, D J Ritchie retained the maximum number of
shares. His resultant holding has increased by 2,843 shares.

Following this transaction, D J Ritchie's shareholding in the Company has
increased to 17,582 shares.

The Company was also notified on 19 March 2004 that M R Harris, an Executive
Director, exercised options over ordinary shares in the Company under the terms
of the Bovis Homes Group PLC Executive Share Option Scheme on 19 March 2004 as
follows:

Having sold 23,907 shares at a price of £5.9125 per share on 19 March 2004 to
meet the option cost and PAYE liability, M R Harris retained the maximum number 
of  shares. His resultant holding has increased by 6,093 shares.

Following this transaction, M R Harris' shareholding in the Company has
increased to 255,097 shares.
