GRANT OF OPTIONS TO DIRECTORS UNDER THE EXECUTIVE SHARE OPTION SCHEME

The Company was yesterday informed that the following Directors of Bovis Homes
Group PLC have been granted options over Ordinary Shares of 50p each in the
Company at an exercise price of 358.5p per Ordinary Share.

All options are granted under the terms of the Company's Executive Share Option
Scheme and are normally exercisable between 3 and 10 years from the date of
grant. The option certificates were dated 18 March 2003. The exercise price was
the mid-market price on 17 March 2003.
