The Company has today been notified that Bovis Homes Group Employee Trust ('the
Trust'), a discretionary trust, registered in the name of Towers Perrin Share
Plan Services (Guernsey) Limited, transferred a total of 4,207 Ordinary Shares
under the terms of the Bovis Homes Group Long Term Incentive Plan on 14 May
2003, following the exercise of an award by an employee.

The Executive Directors of Bovis Homes Group PLC are potential beneficiaries
under the Trust and are deemed to be interested in all the shares held by the
Trust and the dealings thereof for the purposes of Section 324 of the Companies
Act 1985.
