Bovis Homes Group PLC (the 'Company')

M. Sharpe, a director of the Company, has today notified the Company that on
3rd May 2001 he exercised options over 144,465 shares in the Company. Of his
resulting holding, M. Sharpe sold 126,187 shares at a price of 376p per share.
As a result M. Sharpe increased his holding in the Company to 44,466 shares.
