Bovis Homes Group PLC (the 'Company')

The following Directors have today notified the Company that on 26th April
2001 they exercised options over the following shares in the Company:


P.D. Baker                                           38,461
J.M. Emery                                           80,000
B.M. Johnson                                         38,461


Of their resulting holdings, P.D. Baker sold 31,098, J.M. Emery sold 78,829
and B.M. Johnson sold 35,461, in each case at a price of 356p per share.

As a result, the above Directors have increased their holdings in the Company
as follows:

P.D. Baker now holds 62,765 shares.

J.M. Emery now holds 23,665 shares.

B.M. Johnson now holds 43,192 shares.
