Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited (the 'Company')


First interim dividend

Further to the RNS announcement (0740E) made by the Company on 14 October 2004,
the first interim dividend of US$0.032 per Ordinary Share, in respect of the
year ending 30 June 2004, will be paid on 29 December 2004 to ordinary
shareholders on the register at close of business on 25 June 2004.
