VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") today announces that on 17 January 2011, Don Lam, a Director of the Company, purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of US$1.00 each ('Ordinary Shares') at an average price of $1.93 per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this transaction, Mr. Lam has a direct interest of 1,005,859 Ordinary Shares and an indirect interest of 235,342 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing a combined 0.382 percent of the Company's total voting rights.
