Appointment of New Managing Director and 'Key Person' of Investment Manager


VietNam Holding Limited (the 'Company') (AIM: VNH) today announces that further to the announcement of 18 September regarding the proposal of Vinnie Yu (Managing Director of VietNam Asset Management Limited ('the Manager')) as the 'key person', the Manager has advised the Company that Vinnie Yu has announced his resignation for personal family reasons effective 30 November 2008. The board of directors of the Manager has proposed Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuong Vi as the new Managing Director of the Manager.


The board of directors of the Company has considered this request and has today accepted Mrs. Vi as the 'key person'.


MrsVi joined the Manager in August 2006 as Deputy Managing Director. Previously, she was a Vietnam emerging market Vice-President with Citibank N.A. and started her career with Citibank in corporate and investment banking in Ho Chi Minh City in August 1996.  Prior to joining Citibank, Mrs. Vi was a Senior Manager at United Overseas Bank in Ho Chi Minh City from August 1995 to August 1996 and a credit officer at VID Public Bank in Ho Chi Minh City from June 1995 to August 1995. Mrs. Vi has an MBA from Maastricht Business SchoolNetherlands and a BA from the University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
