                              The Vitec Group plc

               Final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2003

The Board has recommended a final dividend of 16.6p (2002: 16.6p) which,
together with the interim dividend of 6.1p (2002: 6.1p) gives a total dividend
for the year of 22.7p (2002: 22.7p).  If approved by shareholders at the AGM on
4 May 2004, the final dividend will be paid on 20 May 2004 to shareholders on
the register at close of business on 23 April 2004.
