                  ACQUISITION OF MICROWAVE SERVICES CORPORATION


Further to the announcement of 30 May 2007, the Vitec Group plc ('Vitec') is
pleased to announce that it has now completed the acquisition of Microwave
Services Corporation.



The initial consideration of $3.0 million was satisfied as to $2.0 million (£1.0
million) in cash and the issue of new Vitec shares worth $1.0 million (£0.5
million).  Accordingly, 80,204 ordinary shares of 20 pence each have been issued
and allotted and application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the
London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to the Official List.
