Six Brazilian solar PV sites move from construction to operational

 

VH Global Sustainable Energy Opportunities plc (the "Company" or "GSEO") is pleased to announce six solar PV sites across five Brazilian states are now complete following a period of construction.

 

The six sites, representing approximately $13.7m of the original $63m commitment, will be generating 18.7MWp and are located in Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Pará, Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba. These sites are a combination of tranches one and two of the previous announcements.

 

All the sites have contract lengths of 20 years and are inflation-linked. Telefonica is the off taker in all but one site.

 

The Company expects the remaining sites related to tranches one and two, totalling an additional 13MWp, to be operational this quarter. Capital expenditures for all projects are in line with budget.
