VH Global Sustainable Energy Opportunities completes £5.9mn acquisition of second site in Australia

 

VH Global Sustainable Energy Opportunities plc - a London-listed investment company advised by Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP - is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of the second 10.9MW solar photovoltaic site located in Queensland, Australia.

This acquisition completes the first tranche of this project consisting of two solar PV sites totalling 17MW as previously announced on 2 August 2021. Tranche II of this project will now focus on the construction of battery storage systems which will be built and co-located on both tranche I solar PV sites, allowing them greater optionality to capture positive power price movements and prevent over-exposure to negative power prices.

The Company has now completed the acquisition of the two sites as of December 2021.
