COOKSON GROUP plc
Cookson Group plc received notification on 20 November 2000, pursuant to
sections 198-202 of the Companies Act 1985, that The Alpine Group, Inc. has
ceased to have a notifiable interest in the Ordinary shares of 50 pence in the
Company.
