IBNet PLC 31 October 2000 For Immediate Release 31 October 2000 IBNET ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING CHAIRMAN ANNOUNCES AGREEMENTS WITH KPMG, AON and ROLLS-ROYCE At the Annual General Meeting of IBNet plc held today in London, Chairman, David Heynes made the following statement: 'Following the announcement of several successful contracts that I made in my end of year statement, I am delighted to announce that we have recently reached agreement with three further prestigious organisations to supply them with Netdetec, our Internet surveillance service. These agreements represent a further important step in the development of IBNet. 'The first agreement is with KPMG to develop the potential of the Netdetec service in two areas. It will be used initially within KPMG themselves as an in-house facility and secondly direct to KMPG clients where appropriate. 'IBNet has also agreed a partnership with AON Global Risk Consultants which has a substantial client base and expertise in risk control, risk management and financing solutions. The Netdetec service will enable AON to develop a competitive advantage through offerings in its risk products and services. 'Lastly, IBNet is working with Rolls-Royce plc to develop an Internet monitoring and surveillance solution using Netdetec.'
