African  Consolidated Resources  Plc, the  Zimbabwe focused  mineral exploration
company  announces that on  20 January 2010 the Company  was informed that as of
that  date, following the purchase of ordinary  shares ('Shares') at the time of
the Company's placement of Shares in November 2009 and subsequent purchases, The
London   &   Amsterdam   Trust   Company  Limited  now  holds  17,666,364 shares
representing approximately 4.93% of the Company's issued share capital.
