Key Board Appointments and Appointment of Nominated Adviser & Broker

African Consolidated Resources plc, the AIM listed resource and development
company, is pleased to announce key director appointments, designed to
strengthen the Board of ACR ('the Board') as the Company focuses on developing
its multi-commodity portfolio.  The Company is also pleased to announce the
appointment of Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited as financial adviser, nominated
adviser ('Nomad') and corporate broker to the Company with immediate effect.

Mr. Roy Tucker, who previously acted as the Company's Group Finance Director,
has assumed the role of Executive Chairman, and both Mr. Julian Peter Emery,
aged 65, and Mr. Lloyd Manyaradzi Manokore, aged 42, have been appointed as Non-
executive Directors to the Board with immediate effect.

Mr. Emery brings with him a wealth of mining sector expertise, having served
most recently as a Mining Analyst at Ambrian Capital plc, and previously as the
Head of Mining Research at WH Ireland. Mr. Manokore has significant experience
as a commercial lawyer in Zimbabwe having previously held the roles of partner
at Mujeyi Manokore Attorneys in Harare and Director of Spar Malawi Ltd, Ibis
Financial Advisory, Ibis Retail Mauritius and Michael Denenga Attorneys.

Commenting on the changes, Roy Tucker said, "We are delighted that Julian Emery
and Lloyd Manokore will be joining the Board and look forward to drawing upon
their extensive experience as we develop our multi-commodity portfolio.  We are
also pleased to welcome Panmure Gordon as our financial adviser, broker and
Nomad."

There is no other information to be disclosed in respect of Mr. Emery or Mr.
Manokore under paragraph (g) Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
