                                Grant of Options







African Consolidated Resources plc ('the Company') announces that it has granted
1,1965,000 options over new Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company
exercisable at 12p per share from 31 December 2007 to 31 December 2010. These
options have been granted to an employee trust for a broad range of staff and
independent consultants working for the Company.
