Transaction in own shares

The Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("the Company") announces that on 28 February 2017 the Company purchased for cancellation 356,848 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 206p per share.

Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company, after the allotment of shares following the exercise of subscription shares, is 212,091,219.

The above figure (212,091,219) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
