Exercise of Options

 

 

URU Metals (AIM:URU), the base metals and uranium explorer and development company, announces that the board of the Company has issued and allotted 2,000,000 new Ordinary Shares to Jay Vieira, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, following the exercise of options granted to him in May 2014 and exercisable at a price of 2p per share ("the Option Shares") .

Following the issue of the Option Shares, Jay Vieira is interested in 4,444,444 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.57 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital.

Application will be made for the Option Shares, which rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is anticipated that Admission will be effective on or around 30 May 2017.

Total voting rights

Following the issue of the Option Shares, the Company's share capital consists of 780,571,488 Ordinary Shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 780,571,488. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
