CANCELLATION OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

OF THE SHAREHOLDERS OF UNITED BANK LIMITED

This is with reference to the earlier announcement dated 22 June 2023 wherein it was informed that the Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) of the United Bank Limited (UBL), held on 22 June 2023, has been adjourned and would be held on 17 July 2023.

It has now been decided by the Board of Directors of UBL to withdraw the resolutions, passed by the Board of Directors of United Bank Limited (UBL) on 01 June 2023, regarding the increase in Authorized Share Capital of UBL and relevant amendments in Memorandum and Articles of Association of UBL. In view of it, the Board has also decided to cancel the above mentioned adjourned EOGM.

Hence the adjourned Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of UBL, scheduled to be held on 17 July 2023, stands cancelled.

You may please inform the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange accordingly.
