Notification of Preliminary Results


The Board of UNITE Group plc, the UK's largest provider of student accommodation
services, today announces that its preliminary results for the year ended 31
December 2004 will be released at 0700hrs on Wednesday, 16 March 2005.


A presentation for analysts, by invitation only, will be held on the day at
0930hrs.  It will be held at Tower 42, 25 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1HQ.
