Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 212,423 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.


It is expected admission will be granted on 8 December 2005 and trading will
commence on 9 December 2005.


These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
The UNITE Group plc Approved Share Option Scheme (15,450 shares) and Savings
Related Share Option Scheme (196,973 shares).


These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
