Unilever PLC 07 May 2004 Release: Immediate BERND ELLMANN TO BECOME PRESIDENT ICE CREAM AND FROZEN FOODS EUROPE Bernd Ellmann (56) has been appointed Business Group President, Ice Cream and Frozen Foods Europe, with effect from 1 June 2004. He succeeds Kees van der Graaf, who has been nominated a Member of the Board and who will become Foods Director. Bernd Ellmann joined Unilever in 1973. He is currently Chairman of Langnese-Iglo GmbH, Unilever's ice cream and frozen foods company in Germany. He has a degree in Economics of the University of Hamburg.
