                      Sarantel Group plc ( the 'Company')


                              Total Voting Rights


The Company announces that, pursuant to the requirements of the transitional
provisions of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of voting
rights in respect of each class of share in issue and admitted to trading on AIM
at the date of this announcement is as follows:

Ordinary A shares of 10p each                              53,939,045                         53,939,045
Ordinary B shares of 10p each                               1,036,340                          1,036,340

The voting rights of all of these shares are identical.  The Ordinary B shares
convert automatically into Ordinary A shares on their transfer.  No ordinary
shares are held in treasury.



The above figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Sarantel Group plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
