PURCHASE OF UTILICO FINANCE LIMITED 2012 ZDP SHARES

The Board of Utilico Investments Limited ("the Company") announces that on 17 August 2012 the Company purchased 37,835 Utilico Finance Limited 2012 ZDPs shares in the market at a price of 175.50p per share.

The Company now owns 1,186,748 Utilico Finance Limited 2012 ZDPs shares and these shares will be held to the redemption date on 31 October 2012.
