The Company was notified on 19 September 2002 by The Equitable Life Assurance
Society ('Equitable') that, following a sale of 2,250,000 ordinary shares of the
Company on 13 September 2002, Equitable now has an interest in 4,050,000
ordinary shares (2.38 percent.).
