Lupus Capital plc ('Lupus') announces that it has yesterday purchased 500,000 
ordinary shares of 5p each in European Colour plc ('European Colour')
representing 1.08% of the issued share capital, for a total cash consideration
of £327,600.  Following this purchase, Lupus's total holding in European
Colour is 1,626,236 ordinary shares of 5p each, representing 3.50% of the
issued share capital of European Colour.  The shares are being purchased for
investment purposes and consideration will be satisfied from Lupus's existing
resources.
