The Board of TT Group PLC announces that it has exercised part
of the authority to purchase its own shares given at the
Annual General Meeting held on 13 May 1999 by the Special
Resolution set out in the Notice of the Meeting on page 47 of
the Annual Report 1998.  TT Group PLC has today, Monday 27
March 2000, acquired in the market 100,000 of its ordinary
shares for cancellation at 91p per share and intends to make
further purchases.
