Directorate Changes

TT electronics plc announces the appointment of Geraint Anderson as Chief Executive with effect from Monday 4 August 2008.  Neil Rodgers stepped down from the Board yesterday and will be leaving the group on 30 June 2008.

Geraint Anderson (aged 49) will join TT electronics from Cisco Systems Inc. where he is Global Vice President of Linksys Service Provider Business.  In this role he is responsible for all aspects of the Linksys business associated with fixed telecom, cable and mobile operations on a worldwide basis.  Geraint has been with Cisco Systems since 2000 and prior to this he led Pirelli's worldwide Communications Business having first joined Pirelli in 1991.

There is no other information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment.

For the period to Friday 1 August 2008, Roderick Weaver, Group Finance Director, will assume the position of Acting Chief Executive.

As previously announced the group expects that the results for the first half year will be lower than in the corresponding period in 2007. The trading outlook for the year is unchanged from that in our May Interim Management Statement.
