                                BOARD APPOINTMENT


TT electronics plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Watson as an
independent non-executive director.

Sean Watson is a solicitor and Senior Corporate Finance Partner at CMS Cameron
McKenna, a major City law firm. He brings his extensive experience of the City
and all areas of corporate law to TT electronics plc. He is currently a
non-executive director of Informa plc. Sean Watson will serve on the TT
electronics plc Audit and Remuneration Committees.

TT electronics plc confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed
under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment.
