Change of Name - Replacement

The Change of Name announcement for TT electronics plc released today at 7am
under RNS No. 5168E has been re-released to facilitate onward transmission by
third party vendors.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 10 May 2001 the Group's
shareholders approved the change of the Company's name from TT Group PLC to TT
electronics plc.

This change of name is effective as of today.
