                                 AGM STATEMENT

All resolutions before the Annual General Meeting of TT electronics plc were
duly passed.

Speaking at the meeting, John Newman, Executive Chairman of TT electronics,
commented on current trading:

'It gives me pleasure to report that we have made a good start to the current
year. Demand for electronic components is increasing and our automotive division
continues to perform well. The performance of Optek Technology, a sensor
business acquired in December 2003 is ahead of our expectations.

In my Chairman's Statement in the Annual Report, I stated that I was looking
forward with confidence to better trading conditions this year. I am pleased to
report my confidence in the current improving trend.'
