                Glasgow Income Trust - Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with Disclosure Rule 5.6.1, Glasgow Income Trust plc (the
"Company") announces the following in relation to its share capital. As at the
date of this announcement, Glasgow Income Trust plc's issued share capital
consists of 121,942,517 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of 25p each, with
voting rights (the "Ordinary Shares"). The Company does not hold any Ordinary
Shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company
is 121,942,517.

The above figure of 121,942,517 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Glasgow
Income Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
