GLASGOW INCOME TRUST PLC


The Board of Glasgow Income Trust plc has declared a second interim dividend of
0.4204p per share in respect of the year to 30 September 2007.


As announced in the recent prospectus, this second interim dividend relates to
the period from 27 November 2006 to 31 December 2006.


The dividend is payable on 31 January 2007 to shareholders on the register at
close of business on 15 December 2006.


New shares issued in connection with the scheme of reconstruction of Gartmore
High Income Trust plc (expected to be issued on or around 21 December 2006) will
not qualify for this dividend.
