CLARIFICATION - BLOCK LISTING APPLICATION

Further to the announcement of 6 December regarding the application to the UK Listing Authority and London Stock Exchange for the block listing of 13,008,620 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company, the Board wishes to clarify that this block listing, if approved, will be used for the purposes of operating the premium control policy of the Company.
