The Board of Tristel plc, the AIM listed provider of infection and contamination
control products, has been informed that on 1 May 2008, Mr Paul Swinney, Chief
Executive, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') in
the Company at a price of 39p per share.


Following this transaction, Mr Swinney maintains an interest in 1,565,742
Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 5.82 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
