                              Directorate Changes


Trifast plc ("Trifast") announces that Andrew Cripps joins the Board as a
Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. He will also take up the position
of Chairman of Trifast's Remuneration Committee.

Andrew, aged 47, is Head of Strategy Development at British American Tobacco
plc. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before joining Rothmans
International Plc in 1983. Between 1983 and 1995 he held a number of positions
in Europe where he gained experience as a Director of both public and private
companies. Until 1999, he was Director of Corporate Finance at Rothmans
International before being appointed Head of Acquisitions & Ventures following
the merger of Rothmans International into British American Tobacco.

Commenting on the appointment, Jim Barker, Chief Executive Trifast plc said:

gained from the variety of roles he has undertaken within a leading global
business from corporate governance to group finance including tax and treasury.
This, together with his M&A and strategic planning and development experience
will be invaluable to Trifast as it continues to develop its global brand and
positioning."

Trifast also announces today that, after 26 years with the Group, John Wilson
who retired from his Executive Director position in 2000 has decided to retire
from the Board and will relinquish his Non-Executive Director Role with effect
from 31 December 2004.
