The Company was informed on 7 September 2000 that James Barker, executive
director, transferred 11,200 shares in Trifast plc to various members of his
family and therefore is no longer beneficially or non-beneficially interested
in the shares. He continues to hold 226,800 shares, representing 0.32% of the
issued share capital of Trifast. In addition, he holds options over 326,160
shares.
